Bushnell 5×20 Golf Scope Rangefinder (Silver) (Electronics) This item was so cheap compared to a reasonable laser rangefinder that I can not complain at all.I would like to use it for golf but its really not much better than guessing at your distance compared to the most recent yardage marker. In the scope, it goes from 200 to 150, then 125, then 100, and even just a slight movement of the hand or the flag stick moves the yardage estimate by 50 yards or more.So, if you want a slightly magnified view of the green, this is the product your looking for.If you want any sort of accuracy with the distance, you’ll need to pony up for the callaway or bushnell laser finders. The callaway one is made by Nikon, had many good reviews just like the Bushnell Vr2, but its closer to 250 to enter that market. |

Bushnell Medalist Rangefinder (Electronics) After 7 months and using it about once a week, its now broken and does not power up after installing fresh batteries several times. I guess i have to contact Bushnell . I also noticed that I have used about 4 9V batteries. It seems excessive for the amount of use only after 7 months of ownership. I reverted to disconnecting the battery after every round just to save on battery drainage. |

Bushnell 5×20 Golf Scope Rangefinder (Silver) (Electronics) When purchasing this rangefinder there was no mention of how it works. First, you can only play on courses that use one foot marked flags. This is because you have to sight in on the green and then count the number of marks up on the flag. Then multiple that by three and then divide by eight to come up with the range.On the plus side it is still a pretty good scope for checking out the flora and fauna. |

Bushnell Yardage Pro Golf GPS Unit Model 368100 (Sports) Thinking Bushnell ‘s reputation would make it a sound investment I bought one. After nearly 14 hours, including about 7 hours on the phone with Bushnell and iGolf, we finally got what seemed like the right software downloaded and then we all concluded the unit I purchased must be defective. Even the experts at Bushnell and iGolf had a difficult time trying to figure out what was the next ‘click’. In my view Bushnell was not ready to go to market but did so anyways. You can’t use what doesn’t work. |

Leupold GX-1 Digital Golf Rangefinder (Sports) This works as it’s supposed to. You aim it at a flag or other target and it gives you the distance. Other players in my group use the Bushnell s and it seems to be right on the money – only a couple yards difference. Compact and easy to use. |

Bushnell Sport 600 Laser Rangefinder (Sports) I like knowing exact distances to the top of the flag from 150 yards and in. I don’t care so much if I’m 240 or 260 yards out because it’s basically beyond my 3 wood range. I play with guys who carry GPS units and they usually ask me for yardage help because they have three potential yardages- front, middle, and back of the green. Knowing a flag is 71 yards or some other specific yardage is the information I need and this unit gives it to me every time. The only thing a GPS unit adds is a visual of the course/green layout. If you find yourself in lots of hazards perhaps you should consider a GPS presentation. If not this may be just what you need. |
